Who around the area do you think does a great job specifically with color and with shading color? There are pictures of my orchid tattoo in my profile (it goes from my braline, over down to not quite my breast). I want it to start deep purple and fade into a very faint pink. I want it to be very feminine. And true to orchids, they lose pigment as they grow down the vine.
The artist that started it was going to do it. He developed Parkinson's and decided not to wait around to let the disease erode him away, so I never got the color. (I'm not complaining about that, the situation is sad.) I'm just in a position to find an artist that specializes in great colorwork.
Any recommendations?

My artist (Bryan Childs) is an acknowledged master of shading. He works in Olympia, WA. Don't know if that helps.
